The Shoplinker service was operated
by London Transport for six months during 1979 using 16 specially painted standard RMs. It ran in both
directions around a loop taking in all the big West End stores.
This code 3 model is of the prototype Shoplinker Routemaster, RM59, and was made using the EFE Clydeside RM which has a similar livery. The tampo printing was removed and the top deck windows and cantrail painted yellow. The replacement decals are all home-made. Drivers mirrors have also been added.
